He'll be here in just over 9 weeks!! And the basement isn't done, still waiting on the electrician who is "supposed" to be here tomorrow night. We shall see;)
Feeling pretty good, now on 42units of nph at night, post meal glucs are still within range, so no meal insulin. BP is good, sleep is actually really good right now, getting uncomfortable lying on my side, arms are going numb, and getting big creases on my sides, and of course turning over the other side every 2 hours is work, but the night reflux is really good this week, and I'm waking rested. I've been getting naps in over the weekend, which is helping also. Doesn't appear I've gained any weight this week, still at my 18.5lbs total to date!
Last night I had over an hour just after midnight where little man was rolling and rolling, not sure if it was an hour straight of BH, or just his back to my belly button, but it was really uncomfortable. I really need to work on drinking more water during the day, I know that.
I see my family dr and my internist next week, then the ob consult at 32 weeks for my c/s--not sure who'll be doing my prenatals from then on, not too worried about it.
Really nothing else new pregnancy wise, I've gained less than half the weight so far that I gained with Nolan, amazing! I'm less swollen, I rarely get any foot and leg edema, just when I walk too much. I can't believe how much better I feel d/t 1)being on insulin since 5 weeks, 2)having much better bp control early on, 3)not working full time to 35 weeks like last time. I also can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is passing, with Nolan it seemed to take forever and ever and ever to get this far, and now in just two short months, baby will be here!
I'm anxious but scared, in a different way than with Nolan; with him I had no idea how or when labor would happen, and no idea of how hard a nb would be. This time I'm very comfortable with the delivery, but terrified of the next 12 weeks afterwards with a nb, the woes of a btdt with a fourth nb I guess;) Oh well, snuggling that little man into my neck and smelling his little smells and that soft baby hair will be so wonderful! I can't wait!! And Nolan is just thrilled that he's coming so soon! And even dh has been talking more about him each day, rubbing my belly; he's been gone to work for 6 days and remarked how much smaller I look, but how much bigger baby has gotten this week! He seems to be much lower and ballier right now, must be settling into a nice vertex, he's been pretty transverse for awhile now. Its hard to believe this'll likely be my last pregnancy, what a wonderful gift I've been given:)
