Saw internist first, bp was 118/71, he's happy with the insulin regime, see him again in two weeks and draw bloodwork two days before that for A1c and tsh. Otherwise not exciting at all.
Saw gp for a 2 week prenatal-wt is 113.1kg, so up 13kg total this pg=28.5lbs-yikes! Even scarier was that last week at 33w1d, baby was the weight of a 36 weeker at 2781g+/-400g, so around 6lbs2oz-double yikes! I know he's dropped and I've been +++ uncomfortable the past few weeks, but omg! He's gonna be huge! Thank God for a repeat c/s! I'm really gonna watch what I'm eating, I've really been craving carbs, but gonna work hard at sticking to fruits, vegs, and lean meats, with healthier carbs. He found bean's hr pretty quick, never told me fundal height, said no gbs swabbing since I'm a c/s anyhow. Otherwise he didn't say anything about u/s results other than all was well, and baby seems big but we can't do much about that anyhow. My next u/s is at 37 weeks, hopefully he's not 15lbs by then, lol!
My sister Helen came for a visit, she lives 2.5 hours away, and I've seen her once in six months; the kids haven't seen her since Christmas. Its really quite sad. The visit was good, I had a quick lunch with her at McD's, then she came to the house for a visit to see the kids.
BTW, basement is nearly completed mud/taping, the guy is coming back tomorrow and should be done by Sunday!! It sounds like Lucas is coming on Friday to measure and give us a quote on installing the laminate and doors. I went to HD today and picked out my doors and paint colors, I think dh is going to rent the paint sprayer for next week and get the doors done, might as well do trim also. So the plan is once mud/tape is done, let that dry, they do the ceilings including paint so that's done, we just need to paint walls and doors, Lucas will come install the laminate and doors, electrician will come back to turn everything on, we just need to put up shelves, and maybe get Lucas to do the trim in the two bedrooms, then he'll come back in the fall to finish up the bathroom. We still need to buy the sink and toilet and tile for that, but the tub/shower is in and plumbing is all in. Woohoo!
To buy for basement:
paint
laminate
doors
trim
shelves
door hardware
sink and toilet for bathroom, and tile for floor and shower, lights, towel bars
