And I get another beta drawn!
We had a good weekend away. The kids all did well on the 8 hour drive each way. The twins had good prem f/u appts, though we have to go back in 3 months for a physio assessment for Arthur, and both kids need their hearing tests done again; they both have colds so they failed. But they passed last year, so we're not too worried.
I was able to buy some mat undies, four tops, and a pair of mat jeans--I'm in mat clothes at just under 6 weeks-yikes! I'm feeling much more hopeful, and so is Jeremy:)
My glucs have been over 6 the past four mornings, and climbing after meals, so my IR is kicking in already. That's disappointing, but earlier treatment will give us both better outcomes. Tomorrow I'm going to start carb counting, I haven't seen a dietician at the clinic yet, so I'll have to make up the numbers a bit. I do better when I lower carb it, and up my protein and fat. I might call the clinic tomorrow.
Otherwise, feeling great! Some passing nausea, sore bbs the past three days, thus the need for a new bra tomorrow. Still really fatigued, but I know alot of that is the IR kicking in after meals. I also want to get on that treadmill for a walk twice a day, hopefully lowering my insulin need.
I see my family doc tomorrow, and should have my beta in the afternoon. Praying for good numbers!
