We did it, we passed on the beta yesterday, waiting for our u/s on Jan 5th!  This is a huge step for us.

I've had very little nausea today and yesterday, but today I developed this crazy acute sense of smell-for urine of all things!  I changed each of the twins at least 8 times today, and washed the big kids' bedding-all in an attempt to make that smell stop!  I'm sure all four of them have some sort of complex now, I've been sniffing them and gagging all day!  I never thought to check if somebody had peed on me first thing this morning....

We sold the truck, the dealer guy flew in and picked it up this am!  So we've paid off the truck and the minivan!!  No more vehicle payments!!!  I guess its time to start loading the extra carseats into the "big" van, we'll get it registered tomorrow.

I cracked open a Costco jar of pickles today, I've got this crazy craving for vinegar-yum!  I've really been watching my food amts today, and so far my glucs have been decent.  The night nph is carrying me well right now, if I watch my intake.  I still want to exercise, but I honestly am afraid to do much until I see a hb that first week in January.  I know my risk is down to normal, but I want to do everything I can do keep this bean, how could I not?

Dh has told all his friends and co-workers about selling the truck, which eventually leads to the new baby:)  Everyone has been so excited and supportive to date-they all know our history of infert and loss, and they're just as surprised as we are!  Its nice to know that we aren't being judged, yet.  We are committed and responsible, and we love all of our kids, what more could they expect from us?  How much more can we expect from ourselves?  My kids all have nice, warm clothes, and fat education funds-a pantry and freezer full of food, a daddy who works very hard, and a mommy who works from home, so a parent is nearly always with them.  We're both educated, and we expect nothing less from our kids.  We're both committed to be married for life, and our children come first in all of our decision-making.

We are so excited to see what the new year will bring!
