Aug 13-Sept 2nd updates

I haven't updated in a few weeks.  Its been busy, dh went back to work, baby is still up every 2-3hrs a night to feed.  I'm bf him maybe 4times in 24hrs right now due to supply issues, I bought a pump this week but only used it a few times-it was tiring and didn't seem to be helping anyhow. 

Aug 14th-233lbs, dropping Dom, upping Met-Joey 3 weeks old today
Aug 15th-baby out of nb diapers completely today, moved into size 1's
Aug 16th-d/c Dom
Aug 17th-out of nb clothes today!  He's 3w3d old, left for camping for four nights!
Aug 20th-Joey cried his first tears!  Sad, but its a milestone!
Aug 21st-he's four weeks old today!
Aug 22nd-231lbs!!
Aug 23rd-our 8th anniversary, and baby weighs 9lbs 2ozs!!
Aug 24th-working up met dose again after stopping while camping
Aug 27th-dh back to work at STARS this weekend
Aug 29th-my first day of class for MEd!!  I didn't pump or come home to bf and it wasn't too bad.  My supply is quite low now and I don't have to bf during the night now.  Left bb is producing very min amts and not too uncomfortable.

Sept 1st-5w3d-Joey is trying to smile!  He makes consistent eye contact now and tries to engage with his little mouth movements and attempts to smile!  He's bottling every 2-3hrs by day and night, and will usually bf then drink 2 ounces, or drink approx 3 ounces without bf.  I bought a pump this week but its a cheapo, ineffective and I'm discouraged.  After buying the pump I felt I tried my best to up  my supply and I'm now ready to just ff.  I'm still bf every 6 hrs or so, rarely from the left side.  I noticed a hormone shift yesterday, so I suspect af will show in two weeks.  I'm okay with it.  I've got alot going on right now, my supply is shot, and I'm sore and tired.  I'm okay with this being my last bf experience with any baby.  I'll keep going at this bf schedule until I dry out.  I'm good with it now that I know I've tried all the LC's recommendations. 

My mood had been really good the past seven days.  I'm going to bed earlier at around 10pm, and I'm waking dh for one feed during the night, at least.  My days are full since he's back at work, but manageable. 

Joseph had his hip ultrasound today, we'll get results when we get out pp check on the 19th, I had to reschedule it from 6-8wks.  We're not having any issues, so I'm happy with that.  I'm hoping to get baby weighed tomorrow.
