Day 1

dinner tonight:  Salad-butter lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, cucumbers, strawbs, pomegranate seeds and almonds. No dressing!
Meal-green beans and a chicken/corn/onion/cheese quesadilla!
This is huge for me, since when the kids are gone, I usually like to hit drive through, instead of cooking.  
 I went in to work this am, but my boss's boss sent me home sick.  So I ran to the grocery store and stocked up on healthy things from the med diet.  The only carbs I had were the box of multi grain crackers to eat with my cheese for snacks.  
Wins: I had NO diet soda today, huge win for me!!
I did not "cheat", though there are no real rules yet-but I did not give into my cravings for diet pop, chocolate, and I did not go down the chip aisle at the grocery store.  
This am, when I was hungry, I washed and bagged all of my grapes, and I ate about a cup of them.  The water richness staved off my thirst today, since I'm not a huge water lover, yet.   
I am sort of hungry tonight, I think its thirst.  My supper was hugely filling.  The salad with all of the added little extras was delish!
