Day 1-40 things that bring me joy

1-The laughter and snuggles of my kidlets bring me incredible joy.

Oh how I wanted to be a mother.  When I was five years old, I knew I wanted to be a mom to six kids.  I would have a set of twin boys and I called them Timothy and Tomothy (I was five, lol!).  They would all be close in age and I knew I'd have one or two little girls in there.  They would ride bikes and ride the school bus.  I never imagined a husband or a job or a home, just those six kids.  Isn't it amazing how my dreams worked out?

Joseph is now 15 months old and is into the snuggly phase, where he wraps those chubby little arms around my neck and lays his sweet little baby head on my shoulder and coos in my right ear and every now and again he'll pat my back and give me a little squeeze.  I take advantage of those moments, sometimes lasting up to ten minutes and I never pull away until he does first-its amazing!  I know soon enough he'll be walking and those moments will become obsolete.  The twins and bigs do still snuggle, but its not as deep and long, they outgrew that need for me to be so close, I guess.

I love my babies, all of them.  I don't care whose tummy they grew in, each night I tuck them all in and love them up and breathe in their little kid-ness.  How lucky am I?

My five kidlets bring me so much joy!

Now don't get me wrong, they can also give me moments of insanity, but I think that is the reality of all of us being human and living under one roof, crazy happens!

My kids bring me joy
